Artillery gunners display pinpoint accuracy in Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor

Soon after Operation Sindoor was launched, the Indian Army’s artillery units targeted and destroyed enemy forward posts supporting terrorist infiltration in the Akhnoor sector.

In a swift and strong response to Pakistan’s ceasefire violations, Indian soldiers involved in the operation said their goal was clear — neutralise the enemy’s terror infrastructure. The firing was precise, leaving the adversary with heavy losses and causing panic in their camps.

“Our counterfire was accurate. The enemy suffered massive damage. They even tried targeting civilians to divert us,” a soldier said.

Launched on May 7, Operation Sindoor destroyed terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, killing over 100 militants from groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

Pakistan responded with cross-border shelling and drone attacks. In response, India launched a coordinated attack and damaged radar infrastructure, communication centres and airfields across 11 airbases in Pakistan.
